- The 2012 IAEG Annual Conference was
held at the Knightsbrook Hotel, Trim, Co. Meath on May 12th and 13th.
The topic was 'Prospecting in Areas of Glaciated Terrain - New Solutions to an Old Problem?'
and speakers included Christopher Clark (U. of Sheffield) and Dave Heberlein (Consultant Geochemist).

- At
the 2012 AGM (18th January) the following Council was elected:
Graham Parkin (President), Mark Patton (V.P.), Noleen Fox (Sec), Jeremy James (Treas),
Kevin McNulty (PP), Andrew Murrells, Charlie Carlisle, Emma Sheard, Margaret Browne, Roy Coates, Sarah Caven, and Shane Lavery.
The 2013 AGM will be held on the 30th January at the Clarion, Liffey Valley at 19:30

Zinc 2010 Special Publication remains delayed due to difficulties in getting promised articles from certain authors.
Serious efforts are being made to gather these articles or source replacements where necessary.
The delay in publication is regrettable and the IAEG apologises to all Zinc 2010 delegates.
